Digital books on music. Series 2

Starting in 2012 and until 2025, all digital books on music published within Instrumentarium were grouped under Series 1, a corpus primarily based on bibliographic research and organological description.

From 2026 onward, Series 2 brings together a new line of publications, particularly focused on manuals and on natural histories of individual instruments or instrumental families. These works expand the scope of analysis to include cultural, environmental, and historical contexts, approaching musical instruments as part of broader systems of practice and knowledge.

As usual, all volumes in this series will be released as open-access digital editions through El Zorro de Abajo Editora, following the distribution principles of Instrumentarium.
